Former band leader for Texas music icon Jimmie Dale Gilmore with appearances on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Fillmore West, Mountain Stage and The Royal Albert Hall. 

Former member of Roy Clark's band, with appearances on Hee Haw, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and The Grand Ole Opry

Produced "Crazy" sung by Willie Nelson and Jimmie Dale Gilmore, a single song addition to "Red, Hot and Country" a benefit album on Mercury Records. 

Co-produced 8 1/2 Souvenirs' "Twisted Desire" album for RCA Records. 

Chris Gage has recorded with such notable artists as Christine Albert, Jerry Jeff Walker, Roy Clark, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, The Flatlanders, Aaron Watson, Bruce Robison, Hank Thompson, Marcia Ball and a host of others.  He's appeared on Carson, Leno and Conan, has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Carnegie Hall, The Royal Albert Hall and over 100 times on Hee Haw. 

Gage currently tours with Christine Albert, plays lead guitar with Jerry Jeff and hosts a weekly evening of fine music in Austin, Texas at Donn's Depot every Monday night in addition to a weekly concert at Strange Brew in Austin Wednesdays at 6pm.
